Gran Canaria has many attractions / excursions for tourist, when on holiday you many not have enough time to see or take part in all of them so here we break down the main tourist attractions and excursions so you have an idea of price, location and general information on the attraction or excursion you are interested in while visiting Gran Canaria.
Spirit of the Sea
This boat trip is a 2 hour long excursions which will take you looking for whales and dolphins. The boat has been specially fitted with silent running engines which allows to get just that bit closer to the wildlife in the ocean. Spirit of the sea also has a special glass bottom allowing you to venture down into the hull area to get a look of the wildlife in there natural habitat.
This trip will leave the harbour in Puerto Rico at 10:00, 12:30 and 15:00 and will last around 2 hours.
Aqualand
Like all of the Canary islands, Gran Canaria has a aqualand. Aqualand in Gran Canaria however is the largest of it's kind in the Canaries. With 13 attractions and 33 water slides this water park is a full day trip / excursions and will be fun for all the family. With in the park you will not only find slides for everyone, you can also play Mini Golf, pool and table tennis to name a few activities.
There are also places where you can buy food and drink, gifts and even a sun bathing area.
Aqualand is located in Maspalomas and opens from 10:00 to 17:00 all year round.
Blue Canarias Helicopter
Blue Canarias Helicopter is a ride around specific parts of Gran Canaria in a helicopter. This excursions offers 3 different trips, each trip will go to a different part of the Island so be sure to select the one you want before you book.
